Automation

Pondora supports automated trading at the dex level via dollar-cost averaging (DCA) - recurring swaps built on signed intents that live in your Smart Account and execute on a schedule.

Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)

DCA is a recurring swap that automatically converts a fixed amount of one asset into another at regular intervals.

  • Set the schedule and the size. "Swap 100 ADA into USDM every week." The intent runs on its own.
  • Best-execution per cycle. Each leg routes through the same matcher used for one-off swaps - it picks the best venue (Sailfish, AMM, external dex) at each execution.
  • No locked funds. Between executions, your tokens stay liquid in your Smart Account and earn whatever yield they normally would (staking, etc.).

How it relates to Smart Account automation

The Smart Account / Automation page covers the broader picture - workflows, scheduled payments, on-chain trading strategies, and the general intent model that powers them. This page focuses specifically on the dex-level automation primitives.
